Node PBX's
Have been designed to use standard Intel based hardware, allowing us to provide a cost effective solution to our customers. The Node PBX offer a rich and flexible set of features which offers both classical PBX functionality and advanced features inter-operating with traditional standards-based telephony
Systems and other Voice over IP systems. The Node PBX comes complete with features one would expect of a large proprietary PBX system such as Voice-mail, Conference Bridging, Call Queuing, Call Detail Records, and Directory Services. Plus many more features call for full specifications

Infrastructure
Node PBX's have been designed to use existing client data network infrastructure, having the ability to work behind any NAT, PAT or firewall due to the unique way that the INEP works.

This allows swift deployment of the technologies and very low initial investment required by the end users.

The Node PBX, if placed between the Internet connection and the local network (LAN) will provide additional benefits to the end user. The Node PBX will provide firewall protection as well as bandwidth shaping and web caching. This will protect the network and provide better performance for your Internet connection.

Dynamic Least Cost Routing

Every Node PBX's is a self sustaining telephone system but has the ability to transport telecommunications via the Internet using our network of client owned Node PBX's. Every Node is managed via the local interface or via a centralised web-based application. Once the system is activated, its existence is propagated throughout the network. This allows the Nodes to transport traffic to the final destination at the lowest cost.


Co-operative Billing


Every node has an integrated call billing platform that allows the user to see call traffic data including time, origin, destination and costs. Any calls that are routed via the Internet and are landed either directly to another Node PBX or via other Node PBX to a local telephone number, are billed via our centralised billing platform at our discounted call charges. Each client holding an account with ourselves will have a balance sheet operated on their behalf. Each outgoing call that is routed via the Internet is debited and any received from another Node PBX is credited with landing charge (Local Call Charge) + 15%.

Each client has a dual minimum and maximum status on their account. Should the balance sheet meet the minimum value, then international calls are disabled until credit has been added to the account. Should the maximum value be reached then a cheque will be sent automatically to the end users paying the local telephone bill.
